Award in education and training

I am doing a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. People with physical disabilities must have a better quality of life. The number of disabled people is growing. Able bodied people must learn to accept them into their lives. Disabled people need to make adjustments to their behaviour. Only little changes need to be made so able bodied are proud of disabled people.

Consider these facts

38% of people believe disabled people are a burden on society

65% of people admitted they avoid disabled people as they don’t know how to interact with them

Improve the quality of life

Do you know what is available that could make you feel happier? Before being disabled your life was pretty much normal.  Suddenly you are disabled and normal life goes out of the window.  Try to park activities that make you feel disabled and embrace those that make you feel happier.

Not everyone is as lucky

The disability can be obvious to everyone. Take obesity, Parkinson’s or Rheumatoid Arthritis. These disabilities can be with you all the time. Always there and ready to remind you of what you cannot do.

Lets start from the premise that you are disabled.  One of the first things you need to do is to get people on your side. One of the best ways is to smile or look happy. A good quality of life makes it easy to smile.

It is easy to find things that make life that little bit easier. Make difficult things not so difficult. I will tell you about some of them.

I want to show people how to make life more enjoyable. Smooth off those rough edges. There are lots of strategies that can help. So many items that do make a difference.

What do you need to know?

A better quality of life does not just happen. Identify what can give you a better quality of life. There are plenty of things that can make life easier and less stressful. I am always seeking out ways to make my life easier and happier.

Early days

I want to help people with a physical disability to cope. I want them to have a better quality of life and be more integrated into society.

I’m sure it really is that easy. I will be starting in Hertfordshire
