New drug hope for thousands of MS sufferers

Fingolimod, a new drug for MS

The first pill for MS sufferers is set to be approved for use on the NHS offering hope for thousands with the debilitating condition

I know this is an old article but anything that offers hope to MS sufferers must be welcomed.

NICE have decided to approve the drug fingolimod after the price was discounted. It has now ruled that the drug will be available for patients who have highly active relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis..

Of course there is no such thing as a free dinner, this one comes with a fairly hefty price tag of £20,000 per patient per year.
